Hi, I’m Alex

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Wife. Mom. Recovering perfectionist. And most of all—someone who believes that no story is too broken for God to redeem.

I became a therapist because I’ve always been fascinated by relationships—what makes them thrive, what causes them to unravel, and what helps us heal. But I became a faith-based therapist after becoming a mom, hitting burnout, and realizing that no amount of training or tools could do what prayer and surrender could.

These days, I work with couples and individuals who are trying to hold it all together but feel like something sacred is missing. Maybe it’s trust. Maybe it’s clarity. Maybe it’s peace. I help people find their way back to themselves, to each other, and to God—one honest conversation at a time.

Why I Do This Work

I’ve sat with people navigating infidelity, parenting burnout, faith crises, and midlife meltdowns. I’ve seen what happens when we try to fix it all alone—and I’ve seen what becomes possible when we invite God into the process.

I believe therapy should feel warm, wise, and faith-filled.
Not judgmental. Not clinical. Not cold.

I don’t show up as a blank slate—I show up as a real person with real hope and a belief that healing doesn’t come from avoiding pain. It comes from walking through it with the right support.

My Approach

  • Relational, not rigid. I focus on connection, not perfection.
  • Faith-integrated. I don’t preach—but I will pray with you if you want me to.
  • Couple-centered. When I work with couples, the relationship is my client.
  • Grace-first. I hold space for your humanness and encourage you toward growth.

When You Work With Me, You Can Expect:

  • A calm, grounded space to explore your story
  • A therapist who will tell you the truth with compassion
  • Permission to laugh, cry, wrestle with God, and feel all the things
  • A process that’s rooted in faith but responsive to your unique needs

The Personal Stuff

I live in Round Rock with my husband Cam and our two kids. I love a good church service, long walks, hopeful podcasts, and letting sunlight hit my face in the early morning. I fail often. I love deeply. And I try to live with a heart pointed toward Jesus—even when I get it wrong.

I believe therapy should feel warm, wise, and faith-filled. Not judgmental. Not too clinical. Not cold. My job is to help you feel safe, seen and heard.
